Bow-Wow. Dog Parks In San Antonio!

In honor of my two darling grand-dogs, Izzy and Lola, the adorable long haired chahuahuas, I ran a search this morning for some type of Halloween activity they could participate in here in San Antonio.    Having come from New York where Dog Parks are in abundance, where dogs are treated like children, where a small pup could cost in excess of $2000 -- my darling grand-dogs have found themselves in a strange city with not much of a social life!

This morning I visited the Official Site of the Parks and Recreation department and discovered that there IS a dog park in San Antonio!

McAllister Dog Park, where fire hydrants, water fountains off the ground, fenced land with exercise equipment, a covered picnic area, benches and a walking trail all await our wonderful 4-legged canine friends!    What a joy to my daughter!   The greatest loss after moving away from New York City was the absence of social interaction for Izzy and Lola-- but fear no more, alas-- we have found "the Park"....

Located at 13102 Jones-Maltsberger.   We will be there, with bells & whistles!   Bow-Wow!
